The Village of North Palm Beach is about four and a half road miles from our office, nine to thirteen minutes by US 1 and Northlake Blvd. A call to (561) 867-8401 before you set out is what holds the room. Same-day emergency appointments are available seven days a week, and the trip is one turn: US 1 to Northlake, then west.
If you're paying without insurance, $99 covers the emergency exam and X-ray.
The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

How far is our office from North Palm Beach?
Around 4.6 miles by road. We're at 4595 Northlake Blvd Ste 112, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, on the north side of Northlake Blvd between Military Trail and I-95. From Village Hall, the North Palm Beach Public Library or the country club, US 1 south brings you to Northlake Blvd in a few minutes. Turn west, cross Old Dixie Hwy, pass the Northlake Promenade Shoppes, go under I-95, and the office is on your right.
The waterfront side of the village, Anchorage Park and the Safe Harbor Old Port Cove marina, adds a minute or two. Lighthouse Dr and Prosperity Farms Rd both lead to Northlake as well, so you don't have to touch US 1 if you'd rather not.
Same-day emergency dental care for North Palm Beach patients
Everything starts with the call. Walk-ins aren't accepted, because a phone call is what lets the front desk reserve a chair and a dentist for the time you're expected. You tell us what's wrong; we tell you when to be here.
During office hours, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the front desk answers. The rest of the time a live answering service does, 24/7, and the first opening is yours: 7:00 AM the next weekday, 8:00 AM on a weekend. The office keeps only those hours. The phone keeps all of them.
The tooth gets examined and X-rayed, and our dentists tell you what they see. If treatment can happen at that visit, it does. Toothache relief, emergency root canals and broken tooth repair are done in this office by our own team. Bring a list of what you take and any dental insurance card, whether you live here year-round or only for the season.
Open weekends and early mornings for North Palm Beach
Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the office is open with emergency chairs held both mornings. A crown that comes off at a Friday dinner or a tooth cracked on a Saturday at Lakeside Park gets handled that weekend. Call first, then come west on Northlake.
Weekdays run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, which leaves room for a visit before the workday or after it. If the pain arrives at 9:00 PM on a Tuesday, the phone is still answered and the 7:00 AM opening is kept for you. For the pain until we open, the weekend and after-hours page has suggestions.
What an emergency dental visit costs for North Palm Beach patients
No insurance means a $99 charge covering the exam and X-ray; treatment is billed on its own, written down and handed to you before our dentists start, so you know the number before you decide.
Most PPO and HMO dental plans and Medicare Advantage dental plans work here, and yours picks up the exam and X-ray if it's one of them. Cash, cards, in-house payment plans and Sunbit, Cherry and CareCredit financing all work for treatment. The cost and insurance page covers everything else.

When to choose the hospital instead
Facial swelling that is spreading, especially with fever; swelling that gets in the way of swallowing or breathing; or a jaw that might have broken in a boating accident or a fall: those go to an emergency room first. The closest is Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, about three miles away on Burns Rd. Hospitals treat spreading infection and injuries; they generally don't treat the tooth itself. Our part, the tooth, comes after the hospital's.
Emergency dental services for North Palm Beach families
A knocked-out tooth from a fall on the sand at MacArthur Beach belongs in milk or your cheek, not a dry towel, and in our chair within the hour; the summer heat dries it out quickly in a parked car. A lost filling or crown is re-cemented or remade after the tooth beneath it is checked. Wisdom tooth pain gets an X-ray and a plan the same day, and if removal is the answer, wisdom tooth extraction follows in this office, simple or surgical. A tooth that can't be saved gets an emergency extraction with the price in writing first.
North Palm Beach is one of eight areas on our service area page. Lake Park and Juno Beach, its neighbors, have their own pages.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take from Lighthouse Dr to your office?
Plan on nine to thirteen minutes. Lighthouse Dr to Prosperity Farms Rd, south to Northlake Blvd, then west under I-95. We don't take walk-ins, so phone (561) 867-8401 from North Palm Beach first and a time will be waiting for you.
Are you open Saturday morning for North Palm Beach patients?
Yes, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Call when you wake up with the pain and we'll give you a time that morning. If the problem starts after 2:00 PM on a weekend day, the answering service holds you the next opening.
What do I need to bring with me?
A list of your medications, any dental insurance card, and a photo ID. If a piece of tooth or a crown came out, bring it in a small container of milk. An out-of-state PPO or HMO card is fine; most plans work regardless of where they were issued.
