One call to (561) 867-8401 holds a same-day time for you, for a toothache, a broken tooth, an abscess or a tooth that's been knocked out. Our dentists see emergencies Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at 4595 Northlake Blvd Ste 112, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, on Northlake Blvd between Military Trail and I-95. Please call before you come. Walk-ins can't be seen; the call is what gets a room and a dentist ready for you.

The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

Emergency dental services in Palm Beach Gardens

Our own dentists handle every service on this list, inside our own office on the Northlake corridor. The tooth gets an X-ray, you hear what's wrong in plain English, and a written price lands in your hands before anything starts.

How it works

  1. Call first. Dial (561) 867-8401 and tell us what hurts. If the office is open, the front desk picks up and books you for today. After hours, a live answering service writes down your name and number, asks what's going on with the tooth, and holds the first opening for you: 7:00 AM on a weekday, 8:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday.
  2. We hold a same-day time. A room and a dentist are set aside for you. Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card, if you carry one, plus a note of what medications you take.
  3. Get treated. The dentist checks the tooth against the X-ray and walks you through the options. The price comes to you in writing, and nothing begins until you've said yes to it.

$99 emergency exam and X-ray

Without insurance, $99 is where your visit starts. That covers the problem-focused exam of the tooth that's bothering you, plus the X-ray that shows our dentist the root and the bone around it. Treatment isn't included, because what the tooth needs isn't known until the X-ray is on the screen.

Once the diagnosis is clear, the treatment gets its own written quote. You read it, you ask questions, and only then does anything begin. Two people with the same kind of toothache can leave with very different plans, which is why this site lists no treatment prices. The cost and insurance page explains each step.

Insurance and payment

We accept most PPO and HMO dental plans and Medicare Advantage dental plans. With a PPO, HMO or Medicare Advantage dental plan, the exam and X-ray go on your plan's bill. Keep the card handy, or read the plan name to the front desk when you call.

Cash and cards work for everyone else. To spread the cost out, we offer in-house payment plans, plus Sunbit, Cherry and CareCredit financing. Ask when you hear the quote.

Open 7 days a week, including weekend mornings

Weekday hours run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If a tooth kept you awake all night, it can be looked at before you clock in, and the 7:00 PM close leaves room to come after work.

Saturday and Sunday we're open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Call Saturday morning, come in Saturday morning. After 2:00 PM on a weekend, a real person still picks up the phone and holds the next opening in your name. The weekend emergency dentist page covers the weekend schedule and how to manage the pain until you're in the chair.

Our team also speaks Arabic and Haitian Creole.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come in without an appointment?

No. Call (561) 867-8401 first, every time. Walk-ins aren't accepted, because a same-day emergency only works when a room and a dentist are ready for you when you arrive. The call takes a minute or two, during office hours or after.

Are you really open on Sunday?

Yes. Weekend hours for emergency care are Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and weekdays run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call before you drive over so the time is held for you. On a Sunday afternoon the phone still gets answered, and Monday's 7:00 AM opening goes to you.

Should I go to the ER instead?

Go to the ER first if your face is swelling fast, you can't swallow, or you have a fever with the toothache. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center on Burns Rd is about 3 miles away. Hospitals treat spreading infection and injuries; they generally don't treat the tooth itself. When you're stable again, call our office.

What does the first visit cost without insurance?

Patients paying without insurance pay $99 to start, which covers the limited emergency exam and the X-ray. Treatment gets a separate quote, on paper, before it starts. If you'd rather pay over time, ask about in-house payment plans, plus Sunbit, Cherry and CareCredit financing.
