These are the questions we hear most on the phone, answered the same way we'd answer them if you called (561) 867-8401 right now. The short version: we're open seven days a week at 4595 Northlake Blvd Ste 112, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, we see emergencies the same day, and you need to call before you come.
The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

Hours and getting seen today
Is the office open on Saturday?
Yes. On Saturday we're in the office 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Call in the morning and a time that same morning is yours. After 2:00 PM on Saturday the office is closed, a live person still picks up, and Sunday's 8:00 AM opening is saved for you.
What about Sunday?
Yes, Sunday too, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Nobody is seen on Sunday afternoon or evening. A call after 2:00 PM reaches a real person; your details get taken and Monday's 7:00 AM opening gets booked under your name. The weekend emergency dentist page covers the weekend schedule in detail, including what to do for the pain until you're in.
Is there a dentist open early in the morning?
Yes. Weekday hours begin at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. If a tooth kept you awake, call when you wake up and you can be seen before work. Call during the night and the answering service holds that 7:00 AM opening in your name, so there's no scramble at dawn.
Can I be seen in the evening after work?
Yes, on weekdays. The office stays open until 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, so a call at 5:30 PM can still get you a time that evening. Weekends end at 2:00 PM, so an evening visit isn't possible on Saturday or Sunday. On a weekend, the earlier in the day you call, the better.
Is the office open 24/7?
The phone is answered 24/7. The office is not open 24/7. Chairside hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekends. At any hour, a live answering service picks up, notes your name and number and puts you in the first opening. Nobody is treated in the office overnight.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. Call first, every time. Walk-ins aren't accepted because a same-day emergency visit depends on a room and a dentist being ready when you arrive, and the call is how that gets arranged. The same-day dentist page explains how the call-first system works and why it exists.
How fast can I get in?
The same day, during chairside hours. We don't publish fixed slot times because the schedule changes with every emergency that comes in. The front desk gives you the time we're holding when you call. If the office is closed, you get the first opening when it reopens: 7:00 AM weekdays, 8:00 AM weekends.
Cost, insurance and payment
What does the first visit cost without insurance?
The visit starts at $99 for patients paying without insurance. That covers a limited, problem-focused exam of the one tooth and the X-ray that diagnoses it. Treatment is priced separately and quoted in writing before anything begins. No treatment prices are posted on this site, because what a tooth needs isn't known until the X-ray is up.
What dental insurance is accepted here?
Most PPO and HMO dental plans and Medicare Advantage dental plans. Anyone with a PPO, HMO or Medicare Advantage dental plan has the exam and X-ray run through the plan. Bring the card, or read the plan name to the front desk when you call. We don't list carriers here, so ask about yours when you call.
Is Medicaid accepted?
No. Our office does not accept Medicaid. Patients without a plan we accept pay as patients without insurance, starting at $99 for the exam and X-ray, with treatment quoted in writing before it starts. The cost and insurance page explains how every visit is priced and what payment options exist.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. We offer in-house payment plans, plus Sunbit, Cherry and CareCredit financing. Ask about it when you hear the written quote, before treatment begins, so the paperwork is done while you're in the chair. Cash and cards are accepted as well.
Will I know the price before any work is done?
Yes, always. After the exam and X-ray, our dentist explains what the tooth needs and the price goes on paper. You read it and decide. Nothing starts until you've agreed. If the plan changes mid-treatment, which is rare, you hear about it and see the new number before we continue.
What we treat, and when to go to the ER instead
ER or dentist: which one first?
Go to the ER if your face is swelling fast, you can't swallow or breathe normally, you can't open your mouth, you have a high fever, or you've hit your head. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center on Burns Rd is about 3 miles from our Northlake Blvd office. Keep in mind that hospitals treat spreading infection and injuries; they generally don't treat the tooth itself. For the tooth, call us once you're stable.
Do you see children?
Yes. Our dentists treat children's dental emergencies, including knocked-out teeth, chipped teeth from a fall and toothaches. A parent or guardian makes the call and comes to the visit. Mention the child's age when you phone, and the room gets set up with that in mind.
A tooth got knocked out. Now what?
Handle it by the crown only; never touch the root. If it's dirty, a gentle rinse is fine, no scrubbing. Seat it back in the socket if you're able, or transport it in a little milk, or hold it in your mouth next to your cheek. Call on the way. A tooth that dries out in a hot car or a beach bag is much harder to save, so don't wait.
Do you pull wisdom teeth?
Yes, in our own office, simple and surgical. If a wisdom tooth is the source of the pain, our dentist takes an X-ray, explains whether it can be calmed down or needs to come out, and quotes the price in writing. See wisdom tooth pain or go straight to emergency wisdom tooth extraction.
Is a crown that fell off an emergency?
A same-day visit is worth it. An exposed tooth under a lost crown is sensitive and can crack or decay quickly, and the crown is easiest to re-cement before the tooth shifts. Drop the crown in a bag, chew on the other side, and call. The lost filling or crown page has more.
Languages, location and what to bring
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Throughout office hours, our staff speak Spanish, so you can explain the pain, hear the diagnosis and go over the written quote in Spanish. Our team also speaks Arabic and Haitian Creole. The after-hours answering service only takes your details and holds your time; language help happens in the office.
Where is the office?
4595 Northlake Blvd Ste 112, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, on the north side of Northlake Blvd between Military Trail and I-95, near Palm Beach Gardens High School. Parking on site. Directions from Lake Park, Jupiter, Riviera Beach and the rest of north county are spelled out on the contact page, with mileage and drive times on the service area page.
What do I bring to the visit?
A photo ID, your dental insurance card (if you're covered) and the names of your medications. If a tooth, or a chunk of one, came out, bring it along. Get here a few minutes ahead so the paperwork doesn't cut into your chair time, and call (561) 867-8401 from the road if you're running late.
